Dear Partners,
Firstly, I want to thank you for all your prayerful support throughout our current Cyprus visit.
Several leaders from Larnaca, Nicosia, Limassol, and Paphos gathered together at the Flamingo hotel in Larnaca on Friday evening and Saturday morning, for a time of fellowship, prayer for the nation, and the unity of the Church in Cyprus.
This is as per our custom, where we join together twice a year in the aim to reconnect and plan. As we press forward with the vision of uniting the church leadership of Cyprus in prayer. For me, these meetings have been a time of refreshing, a time of encouragement from the Lord, and reconnecting with the men I walk within Cyprus and share a common desire to see the salvation of the Lord among our Cypriot people.
Please allow me to share some of the words we heard, and visions witnessed, given from the Lord for our own encouragement, as well as for those who are interceding for Cyprus from abroad.
On Friday evening I sensed a great release of an anointing to pray. Everyone prayed with passion and fervour as we all sensed the Lords presence and His pleasure in us coming together to wait on Him. God spoke to us through visions in the Spirit showing us not only His desire but also how He plans to overthrow the principality and the powers of darkness which have been ruling over Cyprus for centuries.
In the spirit, I saw the Father sitting at a roundtable and all around Him seated on either side were His sons in the spirit. He began to share His desire, His plans, and His purposes for the Island of Cyprus and the sons around the table listened intently as the Father shared His heart.
In a second vision, the sons around the table got up after the Father had finished speaking and the roundtable became a flaming arrow which was formed by the sons who sat at the table. The arrow was then shot by the Father into the heavenlies where the power of darkness was ruling. The arrow pierced through the darkness dethroning and casting down the principality which ruled the Island for many years. As the arrow was shot into the darkness I heard the words of II Kings 13:17 (NKJV) in my spirit, “The arrow of the LORD’s deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria….. ” I sensed a great release in my spirit and a song of laughter began to rise from deep within. We had won a great victory.
As we pondered on the vision we understood by the Spirit that God that our Father is positioning a remnant of sons around the table of His inner chamber, revealing His secrets, and His vision for Cyprus. These sons are dedicated and fully surrendered to the Lord, sons who have embraced a kingdom vision as opposed to a church vision, who surrender their personal ambitions and ministry to God, who will serve as pioneers and catalysts of the Lords greatest move of His Spirit on the Island of Cyprus.
These sons are intercessory warriors who understand that “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
I personally believe that what God is preparing to do in Cyprus is unique for the Island, because of its geographical position as well as its strategic location in the Middle East.
“And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation, and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the LORD. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.” Exodus 34:10 NKJV
We concluded our time together by sharing thoughts on our way forward for future meetings as well as planning for our next “Together for Cyprus” conference.
In closing, I want to once again thank you all for your prayerful support for the island of Cyprus, together we stand as intercessory warriors celebrating in Christ’s victory!
