The Gypsum House Church

The Gypsum House Church

Dear Friends & Ministry Partners,

We have had a wonderful time with our family in Gypsum Colorado. We have managed to spend meaningful quality time connecting with each member of the house church, which is so precious as it is not something that is easy to do electronically. Technology is great and we praise God for what we can do through it, but there is no substitute for a warm hug and face-to-face conversation. It was also a privilege to make some new friends on this trip, and we look forward to seeing what the Lord will do through these new relationships.

The primary subject the Lord led me to minister on during our time together was on the importance of relationships within the kingdom of God. When we do not recognise and appreciate the relationships that are God-ordained in our lives, we miss out on what God wants to build into us through those relationships. Nurturing and guarding such relationships is vitally important because the enemy knows that if he can cause us to stumble here through pride or offence, then he is able to thwart the purposes God is working out through those relationships.

Division is a weapon he has used to great effect within the body of Christ worldwide, but if we are wise to his schemes, we can overcome them through the divine graces of unconditional love, forgiveness and sincere acts of kindness. Where these are present, we are empowered to pursue the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, and the blessing of God flows freely (Ephesians 4:1-3).

We were also very blessed to take in so much of the beautiful scenery of the area and had some very memorable experiences. Michael even got to drive a limited edition 1966 Ford Mustang, which had him grinning like a Cheshire-cat for most of the day.

We were so blessed by the rich fellowship we enjoyed, and thank you for your prayerful support during our time in Gypsum. Michael has now returned home to Cape Town, and I have ventured on to spend some time with Steve & Niki Farkas in Clermont, Florida.

This past Saturday I had the honour and privilege of publically acknowledging the ministry of Andrew Columbia with his wife Angela and commissioning them into the ministry of evangelism. It was a very special and impactful service and we look forward to seeing what God will do in and through their ministry in the years to come. I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Apostle Jim & Pat Pickens for hosting the event and for their continued hospitality and generosity towards us. It is so wonderful to have such faithful friends in the ministry.

I am now joined with my son Stephen for a week in New Port Richey, where we will get to spend time with friends and ministry partners. We are looking forward to being hosted by Anna Speros, who has been a friend and partner to this ministry since 1987. Special mention must also be given to Marion Esposito and Ps. Gabriel Papadopoulos who we look forward to spending special time with.

We thank you for your continued prayer support, both for our international ministry outreaches as well as for our local fellowship. I will send through some more feedback concerning our time here in Florida when I get back home.

God bless you,
Andreas.
