Prayer for Support
GOSA filed papers to be admitted as amicus curiea (friends of the court) on Friday, and will argue before the court on Wednesday why it should be admitted.
Please pray for wisdom for the counsel and court, and that GOSA will be admitted. The main applicant has said that they will not oppose us.
Release of funds
We are awaiting monies due, that are owed to us, in the business. At the same time, we owe monies to suppliers and service providers, both in the business and personally. We pray for release of the funds due to us and the ability to pay our debts. We pray for strength in the inner man through the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, and God's favour upon us to release a flood of business into our business, so that we can honour God through His work on earth through His agents, such as Alpha and Omega Ministries. We do see this happening.
Anna Polentas Prayer Request
Good morning, I have developed backache and am going to see a Dr this morning please keep me in your prayers thank you!
Prayer for Legislative Agenda
South African firearm owners are currently subjected to a highly arbitrary, irrational, unconstitutional and expensive law called the Firearms Control Act. This law since its implementation has failed catastrophically a number of times, yet lawmakers continue to maintain its existence, mostly at the urging by an NGO that often lies, manipulates and deceives, to push its gun control agenda. To compound this, the police force has many malicious individuals within its ranks, going to extraordinary lengths to harass and prejudice firearm owners both inside and out of court (with judges almost always literally throwing a book at prosecutors and arresting officers).
I would like to ask for prayer for the leaders within the firearms community, particularly Gun Owners South Africa, and for myself as someone very active within GOSA, for wisdom when engaging government. I would like to ask for prayer to open the eyes and ears of the legislative members to see through this NGO I make reference to, and prayer for the removal of obstacles within the police management which frequently show malicious intent, illegal use of power without consequence, attempt to obstruct and intentionally ignore firearms groups, and general incompetence.
In February, there is a Constitutional Court case to be heard after a High Court ruled against the police and declared sections of the law unconstitutional earlier this year. I would like to ask for prayer for the legal counsel of the various firearm organisations to make a formidable argument that opens the door to declaring the entire law unconstitutional, and forcing the rewrite of the law.
Lastly I would like to ask for prayer for the continued growth and professional reach of GOSA. God has blessed GOSA richly this year with paid membership growth as the organisation formalises and consolidates after 13 long years of slowly cobbling itself together. With almost 3 million non-affiliated firearm owners, we need the resources to reach them to truly become a formidable force that government has ignored/trampled on for so long, and pray that our attempts to partner with large organisations for financial support bear much fruit.
God bless you all and thanks

We thank God for answered prayer on behalf of our brother Andrew Columbia. The Lord has opened a major door of utterance for him in New York. He will be taking over as senior Pastor of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. He is in the process of moving up to New York this week.
